Connecting the power cord to the Wave/PC unit

1. Plug the small end of the power cord into the power jack on the back of your Wave/PC

unit (Figure 8). The connector is shaped to ﬁt in only one direction. Line up the ﬂat edge of

the plug with the ﬂat edge on the side of the jack.

2. Connect the other end of the power cord to an AC (mains) outlet. The clock time display

should begin ﬂashing. The ﬂashing will stop during software installation when the clock is

set by your computer.
